GHALCA keen to continue reformed Presidentís Cup
The Ghana League Club Association will maintain the arrangement of inviting two foreign clubs for the President's Cup after this yearís success.

GHALCA as part of its plans to give this yearís Presidentís Cup an international touch invited TP Mazembe of DR Congo and Enugu Rangers of Nigeria to play along local clubs Accra Hearts of Oak and SC Medeama.

"It has come to stay because this particular decision was mooted by the sitting President and we decided to put it in a trail which has been widely accepted," said Albert Commey, a member of GHALCA

"For us is a very good beginning and we will put all the negatives in perspectives and put them in shape before next season.Ē

Accra Hearts of Oak beat fellow Ghanaian Premier League side SC Medeama 2-0 to win this yearís edition. TP Mazembe of DR Congo beat Enugu Rangers of Nigeria 2-0 to win the bronze medal.
