Brazilian soccer star Neymar has renewed his global advertising contract with Panasonic Corporation.
The 21-year-old FC Barcelona striker has signed a four-year deal with the Japanese audiovisual company, extending an association that began in March 2010 and was subsequently renewed for two years in April 2011.
Over the course of the new agreement Neymar, the worldís most marketable athlete in 2012 and 2013, will act as a global ambassador for Panasonic in its B2C and B2B promotional activities, advertising around the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and CSR programmes.

A statement released by Panasonic said the company Ďis aiming to develop a youthful, dynamic and swift global brand imageí by sponsoring Neymar.
Financial terms of the deal were not released. However it is likely to be worth a seven-figure sum annually.
News of the deal follows Monday's announcement that Neymar's new club FC Barcelona had also signed a global sponsorship agreement with Panasonic.
Panasonic has been supporting the Olympic Games as an official partner since 1988.
